...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL ROCK ISLAND
COUNTY IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for north central
and northwestern Illinois.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN WHITESIDE...NORTHEASTERN HENRY AND NORTHWESTERN
BUREAU COUNTIES...

At 821 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Deer Grove, or
11 miles south of Rock Falls, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
         considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
         Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Locations impacted include...
Sterling, Rock Falls, Walnut, Tampico, Deer Grove, Emerson, Ohio,
Yorktown, Yeoward Addition, Whiteside County Airport, Galt, Penrose,
Como, Kasbeer, Leon Corners, Normandy, Grimes Addition, Douglas Park,
and Agnew.

This includes Interstate 88 between mile markers 34 and 44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for north central
and northwestern Illinois.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
