...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN ROCK ISLAND...SOUTHERN CEDAR...SCOTT...MUSCATINE AND
SOUTH CENTRAL CLINTON COUNTIES...

At 657 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Calamus to near Cranston, moving southeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf, Muscatine, West Branch,
Durant, Eldridge, Milan, West Liberty, Wilton, Walcott, Blue Grass,
Buffalo, Andalusia, Princeton, Long Grove, Reynolds, Conesville, and
Riverdale.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 74 in Iowa between mile markers 1 and 5.
 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 254 and 303.
 Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 1 and 2.
 Interstate 280 between mile markers 1 and 16.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for northwestern
Illinois...and east central Iowa.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
