...An area of heavy rain will impact portions of northern Keokuk,
southeastern Iowa, northwestern Washington and southwestern Johnson
Counties through 845 PM CDT...

At 758 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking heavy rain over South
English, or 9 miles northeast of Sigourney, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects
         is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sigourney, Wellman, North English, Keswick, South English, Harper,
Kinross, Keota, West Chester, Webster, Lake Belva Deer Park,
Yenruogis County Park, and Amish.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Stay away from
flooded areas. Report any flooding to local law enforcement.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
southeastern and east central Iowa.
