PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.5 feet, In Port Byron, water affects commercial
  buildings facing the river. In Le Claire, water affects the lowest
  section of Canal Shore Drive south of town. Most of First Street
  is under water in Rapids City. Water affects the lowest portions
  of 1st Avenue in Hampton.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.8 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 14.4 feet Monday
    morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

  businesses with seepage into yards in Savanna. Grain elevators are
  also affected. Water affects the lower portion of Marquette
  Parking lot. Water affects Vulcan and South Broad Streets in
  Sabula.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 20.0 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.1
    feet just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

    Tuesday afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
