...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN DECATUR...SOUTHEASTERN
UNION...NORTHEASTERN RINGGOLD AND WESTERN CLARKE COUNTIES THROUGH 845
PM CDT...

At 801 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Sun Valley Lake, or 12 miles northeast of Mount Ayr, moving northeast
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Osceola, Sun Valley Lake, Lakeside Casino, Murray, Grand River, Van
Wert, Garden Grove, Tingley, Weldon, Arispe, Thayer, Ellston,
Beaconsfield, and Murray Roadside Rest Area.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 15 and 40.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
south central Iowa.
