...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CHEYENNE COUNTY
THROUGH 615 PM MDT...

At 530 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles south of Lisco to 6 miles southeast of
Sidney Municipal Airport. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lodgepole and Sunol.

This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 65 and
77.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
