Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
854 PM EDT Mon Jul 8 2024

Pennsylvania will see another surge of heat and humidity through
midweek. Dewpoints will rise through the 60s and into the 70s
across much of the area by Tuesday, as high temperatures again
range from the mid 80s in the northwest to the mid 90s across
southeast Pennsylvania. The combination of heat and humidity will
push heat indices over 100 degrees across the southeastern part
of Pennsylvania Tuesday, and likely again on Wednesday. Heat
advisories are in effect for southeast portions of the
Commonwealth through Wednesday.

Rain chances will also increase through midweek, with moisture
remnants from Beryl introducing a locally heavy rainfall and local
severe storm threat by Wednesday and Wednesday evening, mainly
over northern Pennsylvania. Showers last into Thursday as the heat
and humidity subside for late week.
