Hot and humid weather will continue Wednesday night across
Pennsylvania with heat indices exceeding 100 degrees in parts of
the Commonwealth. High temperatures this afternoon will range from
the mid 80s along the Lake Erie shore, to the upper 90s in
southeastern Pennsylvania. Tonight will feature very warm and
muggy conditions with lows ranging from the upper 60s over the
northern mountains to the mid and upper 70s in Lower Susquehanna,
Delaware, and Lehigh valleys.

The remnants of Beryl will track across the Lower Great Lakes
later Wednesday, fueling a line of strong to potentially severe
thunderstorms during the late afternoon and evening. Heat and
surging humidity in the warm sector ahead of the post- tropical
system will produce oppressively humid conditions with heat
indices exceeding 100 degrees in the valleys of central and
eastern Pennsylvania.
