Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
636 PM EDT Wed Jul 10 2024

A hot, humid, and unstable airmass associated with the post-
tropical system that was Beryl will continue to fuel strong to
severe thunderstorms this evening capable of producing damaging
winds across the central and eastern portions of the Commonwealth.

The humid airmass and storms will exit the eastern part of the
state late tonight. Low temperatures will range from the low 60s
across the northwest Alleghenies to the 70s across southeastern
Pennsylvania.

High pressure will push into the state on Thursday and bring fair
weather and lower humidity to most of Pennsylvania Thursday.
However, an area of low pressure over the Great Lakes will result
in persistent clouds and scattered showers across the northwest
part of the state during the afternoon. Highs Thursday will range
from the low 70s over the northwest mountains, to near 90 across
the southeast piedmont.
