A very warm and humid summertime weather pattern will maintain
above average temperatures across the Keystone State through the
weekend and into next week. Heat index values will reach the
century mark this afternoon in the Lower Susquehanna, Delaware,
and Lehigh Valleys. The heat index could reach triple digits
again on Monday and Tuesday afternoon.

Isolated showers or thunderstorms are possible this evening,
mainly near Lake Erie and also across far eastern Pennsylvania.
Otherwise, skies will be mainly clear tonight as cumulus clouds
crumble after sunset.

Low temperatures tonight will be noticeable cooler in most
places, ranging from the upper 50s across the northwest tier
counties to a still very warm mid 70s in and around Philadelphia.

Expect a rain free end to the first weekend of July on Sunday,
with slightly lower humidity. The odds for rain increase through
early next week with rain and thunderstorms most likely on Tuesday
afternoon.
