Heat index values will reach the century mark this afternoon in the Lower Susquehanna, Delaware, and Lehigh Valleys. The heat index could also reach triple digits again on Monday and Tuesday afternoon. A cluster of strong thunderstorms with heavy rain will exit the Poconos early this morning. For the rest of today, expect limited rain chances primarily confined to the southeastern portion of the Commonwealth. Expect a rain free end to the first weekend of July with slightly lower humidity on Sunday. The odds for rain increase through early next week with rain and thunderstorms most likely on Tuesday afternoon. $$ MRS
