Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College, PA
305 PM EDT Fri Jul 19 2024

.DISCUSSION...
A ridge of high pressure extending from Indiana east to
Pennsylvania will provide mainly dry and less humid weather into
the upcoming weekend. Minimum relative humidity values will be in
the 30s through late this afternoon across central and southern
PA with potential for a few spots to dip into the 20s.

Southerly winds will usher in more moisture on Saturday with
increasing humidity and the potential for a few showers and
thunderstorms, mainly during the afternoon across the Laurel
Highlands and Central Ridge and Valley region of the state.
