.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Hurricane Beryl has made landfall near Matagorda Bay and will
continue northward this morning. Hurricane force wind gusts will
remain possible through mid-morning before subsiding. Hurricane
warnings remain in effect for bays and open waters north of Port
Aransas, with small craft advisories now in effect south of Port
Aransas. Very high seas north will gradually subside through the
day. Scattered thunderstorms will continue this morning.
