Our next best chance for rain will come Sunday and Monday as
moisture increases as a tropical wave approaches Mexico. Sunday
will yield the best chance for rain out of the two days with a 25-
55% chance across most of South Texas with Monday yielding a 20-45%
chance. While rain chances will drop after Monday, there will be
still be a low (15-25%) chance for showers to develop each afternoon
with the seabreeze. Warm conditions will remain in South Texas
through the weekend and into next week with heat index values
peaking between 100-109 degrees daily.

Brief patchy fog resulting in MVFR/IFR VSBYs from ALI to VCT this
morning, is expected to dissipate by 13-14Z. Otherwise, VFR
conditions will prevail across S TX today. Brief patchy fog is
expected once again toward Saturday morning for ALI and VCT. SE
winds will increase to 10-15 knots with occasional gusts around 20
knots can be expected this afternoon.
