...HAZARDOUS THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE COASTAL WATERS...

At 425 PM EDT, thunderstorms were located along a line extending from
near Stono Inshore Reef to 7 nm west of Saint Helena Sound, moving
east at 10 knots.

  HAZARD...Winds up to 30 knots.

  IMPACT...Expect briefly stronger winds and suddenly higher waves.

Fripp Inlet Buoy...               N. Edisto Nearshore Reef...
Lowcountry Anglers...             Pelican Bank...
Deveaux Bank...                   Saint Helena Sound...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and poor visibility in heavy rain. Boaters
should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. Put on a
personal flotation device.
