At 432 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Marion, or 16 miles east of Webster, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Newark, Marion, Lyons, Clyde, Sodus, Chimney Bluffs State Park, Rose, Huron, Wolcott, Sodus Point, Fairville, North Rose, Alton, South Butler, and Port Bay. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
