...Showers with locally heavy rainfall will move across south
central Vermont through 10 am...

At 830 am...showers with locally heavy rainfall were moving across
Rutland, Windsor and southern Orange counties. Radar estimates and
ground truth indicate that localized rainfall amounts have reached
three-quarters of an inch with additional heavy rain shower
activity in the Upper Hudson River Valley New York headed for
these same areas.

Main impacts will be poor visibility, ponding of water on roads
and poor drainage issues. However, be alert for possible localized
street flooding, especialy in poor drainage urban areas.

Remember...never cross a flooded roadway. Turn around, don`t
drown. If you run across rising water, seek higher ground.

These heavy rain showers with the possibility of some embedded
thunder will exit Vermont around 10 am.
