...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ORANGE...
SOUTHEASTERN ADDISON...NORTH CENTRAL RUTLAND...NORTHWESTERN WINDSOR
AND SOUTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM EDT...

At 812 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Braintree, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Barre, Middlebury, Braintree Hill, Orange, Chelsea, Websterville,
Lincoln, Randolph, Rochester, Granville, Goshen, Barre Town,
Northfield Village, Hancock, Vershire, Corinth Corners, Washington,
Warren, Ripton, and Northfield.

This includes Interstate 89 between mile markers 27 and 48.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
