...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CAMERON COUNTY
THROUGH 445 PM CDT...

At 416 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lopez - Riggins Elementary School, or over Los Fresnos, moving south
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
San Benito, Los Fresnos, Rancho Viejo, Southmost, Olmito, Port Of
Brownsville, La Paloma, Cameron Park, Laureles, and Downtown
Brownsville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate Highway 69 E between mile markers 1 and 22.
 US Highway 281 between mile markers 824 and 838.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
