...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY
THROUGH 500 PM MDT...

At 430 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing a landspout tornado 6 miles northeast of Otis,
or 11 miles northwest of Yuma, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts up to 50 mph, and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Landspout tornadoes can damage mobile homes, roofs,
         vehicles, and trees. Outdoor objects may be tossed about.
         Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Otis, Lone Star, and Burdett.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If a tornado is spotted seek shelter inside a sturdy building.
