This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon
and continue into the evening. The highest coverage is expected to
occur from the Front Range Mountains and Foothills into the Denver
metro area and especially the Palmer Divide. Stronger storms will
be capable of producing locally heavy rainfall with minor street
flooding, while burn scars may also be susceptible to debris flows
should a stronger storm move across one of the 2020 burn scars.
One or two severe storms will be possible on the eastern plains
late this afternoon and evening, with large hail being the primary
threat.

Temperatures will be several degrees cooler today, returning to
near seasonal norms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Storm coverage and intensity is expected to increase Wednesday,
with a few severe storms possible. Stronger storms would be
capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and locally heavy
rainfall. The chance of storms will linger through the latter
half of this week and be focused from the Continental Divide
eastward across the Southern Foothills into the Palmer Divide
where locally heavy rainfall will be possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight, but any
reports of locally heavy rain, strong winds, or hail would be
appreciated.
