...HOT WITH ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING GUSTY
OUTFLOW WINDS...

.DISCUSSION...
A hot air mass, coupled with monsoon moisture and a low pressure
moving up from the Great Basin will act to produce isolated to
scattered thunderstorms through this evening. The greatest
coverage of thunderstorms will be across southeast Oregon and
higher terrain south of the Snake River in Idaho. Gusty outflow
winds up to 50 mph will accompany showers and thunderstorms.
Monday will bring another chance of thunderstorms, to southeast
Oregon and far southwest Idaho, otherwise it will be dry and not
quite as hot. The intense heat returns by Wednesday and lasts
into next weekend.
