...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PIERCE AND EAST CENTRAL MCHENRY
COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM CDT...

At 311 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 5 miles southwest of Balta, or 19 miles south of Rugby,
moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rugby, Anamoose, Balta, Berwick, Orrin, and Silva.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
