It will remain very warm for most of the northern Plains through
the remainder of the weekend, with daily highs mostly in the mid
80s to upper 90s, while overnight lows drop into the upper 50s and
60s. Temperatures are forecast to cool down closer to average
south and below average north Monday and into the middle of next
week. Showers and thunderstorms are expected at times through
Sunday night. Occasional strong to severe storms are expected.
