National Weather Service Bismarck ND
853 PM CDT Tue Jul 9 2024 /753 PM MDT Tue Jul 9 2024/

Scattered showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Dakotas and
Minnesota will slowly dissipate this evening. Otherwise, look for
clear to partly cloudy, but smoky skies tonight with lows in the
mid 50s to mid 60s.

A warming trend will continue through the rest of the work week,
with highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s expected by Friday. These
very warm temperatures in the upper 80s and 90s will continue
through the weekend. If you have outdoor plans this weekend, be
sure to take precautions to protect yourself from the heat and
sun. Temperatures are forecast to cool down closer to normal by
the beginning of next week.

Wednesday is expected to be mostly dry across the Region. Then
hit and miss, mainly evening and overnight chances for showers
and thunderstorms return to the Northern Plains Thursday and
through the weekend.
