It will remain very warm for most of the northern Plains through
the weekend, with daily highs mostly in the mid 80s to upper 90s
and overnight lows in the 60s. Humid conditions are also expected
for all but southwestern parts of the region. If you have outdoor
plans through the weekend, be sure to take precautions to protect
yourself from the heat and sun. Temperatures are forecast to cool
down closer to average early next week.

Periodic showers and thunderstorms, mainly during the evening and
overnight hours, are expected through the weekend. A few strong
to severe storms are expected, especially on Saturday and Sunday.
