Showers and thunderstorms, a few strong to severe, will end in the
eastern Dakotas and Minnesota from northwest to southeast through
the day today. Temperatures today through the middle of the week
are forecast to cool down closer to average south and below
average north. A warming trend is then expected for the latter
half of the week, especially in western parts of the region, as a
ridge amplifies in the western US.
