PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHERE...Kickapoo River at Readstown.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, The park along the river experiences
  significant flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 11.5 feet early tomorrow
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    11.4 feet on 06/02/2014.

  experiences significant flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:10 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 13.97 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 4:10 PM CDT Tuesday was 15.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tonight and continue falling to 9.2 feet Tuesday, July 23.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.1 feet on 04/11/2013.
