...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...Iowa...

  Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Crawford, Allamakee,
  Grant and Clayton Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued this evening at 1100 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at McGregor.

* WHEN...Until late this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 16.5 feet, Water may begin to go over the road
  covering part of Highway C near Highway 18.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM CDT Wednesday was 16.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this evening and continue falling to 12.9 feet
    Wednesday, July 24.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.3 feet on 04/28/1972.
