...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN RANDALL AND EASTERN
DEAF SMITH COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...

At 1009 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles west of Dawn, or 6 miles northeast of Hereford, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hereford, Dawn, and Buffalo Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
