There is a chance for thunderstorms tonight, especially for areas south of the Capital Region. Any thunderstorm will be capable of producing heavy downpours, which may result in ponding of water in urban and low lying areas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. With a cold front moving across the region, additional thunderstorms are possible on Saturday. The main threat with any storms will be heavy downpours capable of causing localized flooding in urban and poor drainage areas. Heat index values will again be close to Heat Advisory on Saturday, and again on Tuesday within the Capital Region. If confidence increases, a Heat Advisory could be needed. There is a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday through Friday, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
