At 334 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Indiantown, or 7 miles south of Currituck, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
