...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT BERTIE COUNTY THROUGH 945 PM
EDT...

At 900 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Robersonville, or 13 miles east of Tarboro, moving
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Windsor around 930 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Wakelon, Askewville,
Whites Crossroads, Woodard, Republican, Quitsna, Burden, Midway,
Buena Vista, and Merry Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
