* Flash Flood Warning for...

  Southeastern Hanover County in central Virginia...
  Southeastern Henrico County in central Virginia...
  The City of Richmond in central Virginia...
  Northwestern Charles City County in east central Virginia...
  Central King and Queen County in east central Virginia...
  Southeastern King William County in east central Virginia...
  Northwestern New Kent County in east central Virginia...

* Until 1000 AM EDT.

* At 658 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have
  fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible
  in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Richmond, King William, Roxbury, Talleysville, Highland Springs,
  Mechanicsville, Virginia Union University, Virginia Commonwealth
  University, Downtown Richmond, Chester, King And Queen Court
  House, Bottoms Bridge, Tunstall, East Highland Park, Bensley,
  Bellwood, Stevensville, Orapax Farms, Westwood and Elko.

  Black Creek, Jacks Creek, Market Swamp, Chickahominy River,
  Falling Creek, Possum Run, Toe Ink Swamp, East Run, Exol Swamp,
  Walkerton Branch, Webb Creek, Pamunkey River, Deerlick Branch,
  Fourmile Creek, Kingsland Creek, Proctors Creek, Gillie Creek,
  Rumley Marsh, White Oak Swamp, Matadequin Creek, Whiting Swamp,
  Harrison Creek, Parsleys Creek, Mill Creek, Broad Rock Creek, Deep
  Run, Acquinton Creek, Garnetts Creek, Bailey Creek, Cohoke Creek,
