.DISCUSSION...

Rain continues this evening, with one quarter to four tenths of
an inch of accumulation expected before precipitation tapers off
Friday morning. Winds diminish somewhat during the overnight hours
but generally gust in the 16 to 25 mph range through this
weekend. Winds could be stronger on Saturday as a low pressure
system passes to the north on the North Slope. Cool and moist
conditions continue with highs in the low to mid 60s and minimum
RHs above 50 continuing into the weekend. Another chance of rain
arrives Saturday into Sunday, but looks to bring less
precipitation than tonight.
