.DISCUSSION...
Rain continues to move deeper into the interior with high chances
of wetting rain across the interior today. Gusty winds continue
through the weekend, albeit weaker than Wednesday. Rain chances
diminish slightly Friday morning, with high chances still present
in the White Mountains and along the Dalton Highway summits.
Another round of rain moves into the Interior Friday night into
Saturday as another low moves towards Alaska. Additional rain is
possible as the wet pattern continues into early next week. High
temperatures expected to remain in the 50s to 60s range. Minimum
RHs above 40 in most places with the Upper Tanana Valley and areas
near the Alcan border being the driest, but still expected to
remain above 30 through the weekend. No thunderstorms expected
through the weekend.
