Scattered thunderstorms are expected to move through the area today into tonight. A few storms will be strong to severe, especially this afternoon into early evening across central South Dakota. The main threats will be quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. There is a marginal risk of severe weather today into tonight, which is a level 1 out of 5. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
