...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN VALENCIA...
BERNALILLO AND WEST CENTRAL TORRANCE COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM MDT...

At 611 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Escabosa, or 18 miles east of Los Lunas, moving
southwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Meadow Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Frequent dangerous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this
storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
