...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN UNION COUNTY
THROUGH 900 PM MDT...

At 823 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20
miles north of Clayton Lake State Park, or 25 miles east of Des
Moines, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Union
County, including portions of State Route 370.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
