...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL SANTA FE COUNTY
THROUGH 545 PM MDT...

At 522 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lamy, or 15 miles south of Santa Fe, moving southwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Eldorado At Santa Fe, Lamy, and Galisteo.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 289 and 293.
 Highway 285 between Mile Markers 273 and 290.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
