...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL COUNTY
THROUGH 530 PM MDT...

At 500 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Tecolote, or 13 miles southwest of Las Vegas, moving
south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Las Vegas, Romeroville, Tecolote, Ribera, Chapelle, Sena, Ojitos
Frios, San Geronimo, San Pablo, and San Jose.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 316 and 345.
 State Road 283 between Mile Markers 1 and 7.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
