...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LINCOLN AND NORTH
CENTRAL CHAVES COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM MDT...

At 903 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles northeast of Arabela, or 37 miles northwest of Roswell, moving
south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Arabela.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for
central and southeastern New Mexico.
