.DISCUSSION...

Upper level monsoon high pressure is centered over southern UT
today will steer afternoon and early evening thunderstorms to
the southwest at around 10 mph. Today`s storms will be slightly
on the drier side of things as moisture levels drop slightly
today. Dry air aloft will continue to work into northeast NM
Saturday, limiting shower and storm chances to weak and isolated
at best.

Sky/weather.........Sunny then becoming partly cloudy. Scattered
                    showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Chance of Pcpn......40 percent.
Max Temperature.....87-91.
Min Humidity........18-22 percent.
20 Foot Winds.......Southeast 4 to 7 mph this morning shifting to
                    the west 8 to 13 mph with gusts to 17 mph
                    during the afternoon. Gusty and erratic
