Quiet conditions are expected for the rest of tonight, though high clouds will continue to move over the area. Thunderstorm chances will increase on Monday and moreso on Tuesday. On Monday, storms are expected to develop over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, then move southeastward toward Las Vegas. Some models suggest most of the activity will remain north of Las Vegas, and if it does so, strong outflow from the north or northwest will remain possible late in the afternoon and early evening. Moisture will continue to increase through Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms are expected over the area Tuesday afternoon.
