.DISCUSSION...
Afternoon showers and storms today will favor a start time of near
1pm MDT. Individual storms will track east toward I-25 through
the afternoon. Cloud-to-ground lightning and erratic gusty winds
will be the most common and serious hazards from any nearby storm
cell. Storm chances continue into the evening hours before
tapering off late evening. Another more robust round of afternoon
storms is forecast Wednesday. Locally heavy rainfall along with
the usual lightning and gusty wind threat will accompany storms
Wednesday. The heightened coverage of afternoon and evening storms
continues each day through the weekend.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny then becoming mostly cloudy.
                    Numerous showers and thunderstorms in the
                    afternoon.
