Afternoon storms today will favor a start time near 1pm MDT near the burn area. These storms will track east toward I-25 with the main threat of cloud-to-ground lightning and erratic gusty winds at the fire location. Storm chances continue into the evening to about the 10pm MDT hour before rain chances finally subside tonight. An even more robust round of afternoon and evening storms is forecast Wednesday, again favoring development near the fire location before tracking southeast to east toward I-25. Locally heavy rainfall will accompany the lightning and erratic gusty wind threat. Daily rounds of afternoon and evening storms continues each day through the weekend. .REST OF TODAY...
