DELAEYD REPORT. NWS meteorologists on a
storm survey team confirmed an EF1 tornado
with estimated peak winds of 100 mph and a
path length of 3.25 miles. The tornado began
0.5 miles south southeast of the
intersection between E Valencia Rd. and S
Kolb Rd. near a commercial fulfillment
center. It moved southeast and then east
along E Valencia Rd. The tornado then
crossed E Old Vail Rd. and entered the north
end of the Rita Ranch neighborhood. The
            tornado then weakened before eventually
dissipating 0.1 miles west of S Frost Dr.
The tornado was on the ground for
            approximately 10 minutes and uprooted
            multiple large trees... tossed and
overturned a metal shipping container... and
caused other minor tree and roof damage. The
strongest winds occurred as the tornado was
immediately west of and as it crossed E Old
Vail Rd. where EF1 damage was located. EF0
damage was observed elsewhere along the
            path.
