.DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms across the area today with
strong outflows possible. Storms will move toward the fire area
from the east later this afternoon. Otherwise there`s enough
moisture in place for a daily chance of thunderstorms, mainly in
the mid afternoon to early evening hours. There will be the threat
of thunderstorm outflow winds which can exceed 50 mph and result in
extreme fire behavior and/or a change in the direction of fire
spread.

Tomorrow, high temperature of 95-100 degrees with minimum RH of 25-30
percent. Winds will be from the west at 5-10 MPH. Chance for storms
and showers in the evening to late evening hours with the greatest
potential between 1700 to 2100 MST. There will be the threat
of thunderstorm outflow winds which can exceed 50 mph and result in
extreme fire behavior and/or a change in the direction of fire
spread. Winds overnight will be from the west at 5-10 MPH shifting
to the southwest overnight. Wednesday, high temperature of 96-101
with minimum RH of 20-25 percent. Chance for storms and showers to
develop in the afternoon to evening hours.

Sky/weather.........Sunny then becoming partly sunny. Slight chance
                    of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Chance of pcpn......20 percent increasing to 50 percent in the
                    afternoon.
LAL.................3.
Max temperature.....96-99 degrees.
Min humidity........25-28 percent.
20-foot winds.......West winds 7 to 12 mph. Gusty and erratic winds
                    expected near thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Haines Index........3 or very low potential for large plume
                    dominated fire growth.
Mixing height.......2500 ft AGL increasing to 8000 ft AGL.
Transport winds.....Northwest 8 to 11 knots.

                    thunderstorms overnight.
