Scattered thunderstorms across the area today with strong outflows possible. Storms will move toward the fire area from the east later this afternoon. Otherwise there`s enough moisture in place for a daily chance of thunderstorms, mainly in the mid afternoon to early evening hours. There will be the threat of thunderstorm outflow winds which can exceed 50 mph and result in extreme fire behavior and/or a change in the direction of fire spread. Tomorrow, high temperature of 95-100 degrees with minimum RH of 25-30 percent. Winds will be from the west at 5-10 MPH. Chance for storms and showers in the evening to late evening hours with the greatest potential between 1700 to 2100 MST. There will be the threat of thunderstorm outflow winds which can exceed 50 mph and result in extreme fire behavior and/or a change in the direction of fire spread. Winds overnight will be from the west at 5-10 MPH shifting to the southwest overnight. Wednesday, high temperature of 96-101 with minimum RH of 20-25 percent.
