...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MST THIS EVENING
FOR EASTERN PIMA COUNTY...

At 516 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms have produced heavy rain across the warned area. Up to
1 inch of rain has fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no
additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Drexel Heights, Pascua Pueblo Yaqui Reservation, Valencia West,
  Tucson Estates and Ryan AirField.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
