At 528 AM, National Weather Service radar detected isolated showers
south of I44 and east of the Muskogee Turnpike. Showers were
heaviest in Delaware and Ottawa counties in Oklahoma and was more
widespread in northeast Texas and far southwest Arkasas. Movement
was to the northeast at around 10 mph. The average amount where it
rained last hour was less than one tenth of an inch with maximum
amounts of one half to three quarters of an inch. Coverage and
intensity decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast
for early this morning, mostly cloudy, showers and thunderstorms
likely with temperatures 67 to 71 degrees and northeast winds up to
5 mph.
